With almost 300 days of sunshine a year, you will have plenty of beautiful days to experience the abundance of outdoor activities that are available.  Unlike the west side of the Cascades, the region is predominantly High Desert, which means in the summer you will see warm summer days and cool nights and in the Winter, you can expect colder temperatures and snow.
